A large crowd is expected to descend on Shanbally House and Gardens outside Nenagh this weekend when it hosts Munster’s first large scale health and wellness festival, Elevate FitFest this Saturday and Sunday.

The festival will feature over 30 acts, speakers, and presenters across the weekend, and activities will range from Zumba and self-defence classes to the global rock workout POUND, to more Zen vibes including mindfulness classes, talks, tips for better sleep, expert nutritionists offering advice on how to optimise your diet, a games area, lifting and strength stations, individual and gym challenges, on top of grounding sessions, walled garden tours and educational talks.

The festival will host a large food village and a dedicated talk tent will leave you wanting to reset your mind and life.

In addition, the immensely fun Coppers, the Workout is guaranteed to deliver belly laughs and an all-round great time.

Promoter Kate Duggan said: “We have an ethos of health through nature at Shanbally House and invite you to experience a 360 degree approach to health and wellbeing.

“This festival is an opportunity those young and old to take time out of their everyday life and find something for you; something you can enjoy, and which will keep you feeling fit and healthy into the future.

“We have experts on hand to show people the ropes and so people will leave with new knowledge and a new, or renewed interest in health and wellbeing.
