Two Tipperary people are named on the latest Revenue Commissioners tax defaulters' list for smuggling tobacco.

According to the list for the quarter April 1, 2023, to June 30, 2023, Alan McMahon, 4B, Bulfin Crescent, Nenagh, was fined €5,000 for the offence.

Nicole Ray, of the same address was fined €2,500.

Also on the list is Sean Joseph Martin Breen of Lisloran, Cashel, who was fined €2,500 for the misuse of marked mineral oil.

John Robert Stokes of 4 Slieveardagh View, Ballysloe, Thurles, was fined €2,500 for the same offence.
