Tipperary legend Peter Ryan has ran around Ireland after putting in an amazing run across the past few days in aid of NCBI.
He completed 586 kilometres in total across 5 days after running from Malin Head to Ireland's most southerly point at Mizen Head.
The Drombane native started in Donegal and made his way south until he arrived on the southern coast last night to much cheer and emotion last night where a huge following were there to greet him.
The incredible feat was aided by many who took the trek for stints along the way.
So far Peter has raised €80,000 for the National Council for the Blind’s first ever Vision Bus.
His goal was to raise as much money as possible for the NCBI to continue the fantastic work they do, empowering people with blindness and vision impairment to maintain their independence and live their lives.
