It was a successful night for Tipperary clubs and players at the annual Munster Rugby Awards in the Woodlands Hotel, Adare last Tuesday evening.
Nenagh Ormond were the big winners as the North Tipperary club were awarded the Club of the Year gong after an incredible 2023/24 season which saw them win Division 2A of the All-Ireland League has earned their promotion to Division 1B for the upcoming season.
The club continues to thrive off the field as there have been major developments in the past 12 months, including a full-size 3G Pitch, 50x14m training 3G, upgraded LED floodlighting, and upgraded gym and dressing rooms.
Elsewhere, other Tipperary representatives received awards with Ballina's Maeve Óg O'Leary (Women's Senior Player of the Year), Brian Gleeson (Academy Player of the Year), and Beth Buttimer (Breakthrough Women's Player of the Year) all being honoured at the event.
