Gardaí were called to the scene, where they found that all parties involved had fled the area, with some seeking medical treatment.

BREAKING: Armed gardaí at scene after four injured in 'public order incident' in Nenagh

Armed gardaí and emergency services personnel were called to the scene of a suspected violent assault in Tipperary.

The incident happened at a property in Nenagh shortly after midday on Friday.

The Irish Examiner reported that two people were reportedly hospitalised with suspected stab wounds.

"Gardaí received report of a public order incident involving a number of individuals in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary this afternoon," Gardaí told Tipperary Live.

"All parties involved had left the scene prior to the arrival of Gardaí. Four individuals subsequently sought medical treatment of their own accord for non-life threatening injuries," a garda spokesperson said.

"Enquiries are ongoing".
