31 new homes could be on the way for Nenagh
A North Tipperary town could be set to get a housing boost if plans before Tipperary County Council are granted.
Developers have applied for planning permission to build 31 new homes in Nenagh, on a site on the edge of the town.
The new homes would be located at Silver View, and would see 15 two-bed houses and 12 three-bed houses in six two-storey terraced buildings.

The development would also see four one-bed units in a two-storey building, as well as a new vehicular and pedestrian entrance, together with all roads, footpaths, underground services.
The development would also be connected to public services, surface water attenuation, have car-parking, public open space, public lighting and associated site boundary and site development works.

Planning documents say that the development would benefit the town of Nenagh, providing a "housing stock designed to nurture communities and neighbourhoods which are sustainable, attractive, safe and harmonious places to live".
Tipperary County Council are due to make a decision on the planning application by May 18.
