Kiladangan’s Jack Loughnane played a starring role as his Thomas McCurtains side claimed the London Intermediate Hurling Championship title at the weekend.
Loughnane produced a standout performance in the final, earning the Man of the Match award after helping his team secure victory and promotion to the senior ranks.
The win capped a memorable campaign for the McCurtains club, who have strong Irish connections and a proud GAA tradition in East London.
Originally from the Kiladangan club in north Tipperary, Loughnane is a former underage hurler with the Premier, having won an All-Ireland minor hurling medal with his county back in 2012.
