Nenagh will observe its Annual Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday November 8, honouring local residents who served in the First and Second World Wars as well as in subsequent military conflicts. The event will take place at the Nenagh War Memorial, located opposite the Post Office and Scout Hall on Ashe Road, commencing at 10.55am.

The ceremony will be led by the Reverend Keith Barry and Father Pat Gilbert. Representatives from the Royal British Legion’s Limerick Branch and the Organisation of National Ex-Servicemen, Nenagh Branch, will also be present.
In addition, Remembrance Sunday will be marked with a service at St Mary’s Church of Ireland on Sunday 9th November at 11.00am.
Members of the public are invited to attend both events. Individuals who possess medals or Veteran’s Badges are encouraged to wear them.
