Emergency services are currently at the scene of a fire on Main Street in Roscrea this morning.

Gardaí have confirmed that Main Street remains closed to traffic while crews continue to manage the incident. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and allow extra time for their journeys.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Main Street Roscrea remains closed as emergency services continue to manage a fire at a premises on Main Street. Allow extra time to reach your destination.”

It is understood that the fire broke out earlier this morning, prompting a swift response from local fire and Garda units. No further details have been released regarding the cause of the fire or whether any injuries have been reported.
