Clonmel Rugby Club’s Under 10 team played in a Minis Blitz in Monkstown in Dublin 4
Clonmel Rugby Club’s Under 10s travelled to Monkstown RFC in Dublin to play their hosts and St Brigid’s RFC in a blitz.
Clonmel fielded two teams, with each team playing four matches.
In glorious November sunshine, the rugby sparkled at the Dublin 4 venue.

The Clonmel boys were every bit the match for their Dublin counterparts, displaying fantastic attacking rugby and an equally dogged “green wall” defence.

The matches were played in great spirit and “rugby respect” was to the fore on a fun-filled afternoon.
Clonmel then performed a guard of honour for the club’s first team ahead of their AIL match.
The Clonmel boys gave it welly in their vocal support, which gave the seniors the inspiration to carve out a famous win at Park Avenue.
In fairness to our boys, they had plenty left in the tank on the bus home, with songs, banter and laughs.
They officially got the Christmas season underway with a few festive classics!
Sincere thanks are extended to the parents who travelled on the day in support of the boys.
As ever, well done to the coaches, whose time and effort on the training park is paying off.
