Tipperary soccer team makes steady progress in national competition with deserved victory

Cahir Park U/14 team

 Cahir Park U14 Boys hosted Ferrybank AFC in the National Trophy Second Round on last Saturday, 8 November, 2025. Cahir started well and got an early goal from Kacper Miklaszewski.

Ferrybank grew into the game and found an equaliser from a long throw just before half time. Cahir Park pushed on in the second half and played the better football, creating numerous chances. Cahir went on to win 5-1. Goals came from Dáithí Goonan 2, Kacper Miklaszewski 2 and Daniel O Brien.

Man of the match was Lachlann Grogan. 2 unbelievable free kicks from came from our centre back Dáithí Goonan with one from inside the centre circle.

Well done to the Team and Management. Next up for this team is an extremely tough trip to Piltown AFC in 2 weeks time
