A partial road collapse took place at Toheraheena Well in Clonmel on Friday night
Part of a road fell away on Friday night in Clonmel, forcing the road to be closed indefinitely.
The retaining wall was damaged, and there was a partial road collapse at Toheraheena Well.
Nobody was injured, and the road was closed off before any vehicle used the road.

Staff from Clonmel Borough Council and a fire crew were at the scene immediately and the road was closed.
There is an alternative route for motorists to use,up and down by Glenleigh Court (Side road by Toberaheena Well).

District Administrator Carol Creighton said the authority would be making an application to the Government for emergency funding to allow it to carry out the works. Borough engineering staff have already spoken to officials in Dublin on the issue.
