The landmark attracted 59,956 tagged Instagram posts, making it the county’s most photographed attraction.
The study analysed popular local sights, counting tagged Instagram posts to determine which locations are most popular with social media users.
Other top spots in Tipperary included Cahir Castle with 9,499 posts, the Glen of Aherlow with 3,712 posts, Holy Cross Abbey with 1,293 posts, and Swiss Cottage, which had six posts.
Virgin Media Ireland said the findings reflect how visitors to the county are eager to capture its historic landmarks and scenic beauty.
The research examined five key landmarks in each county, counting hashtags associated with each location to rank the most Instagrammed places.
