Daniel Connery, the newly-appointed Captain of Tipperary Golf Club
The Men’s AGM of Tipperary Golf Club was held in the clubhouse.
A large gathering was in attendance when the outgoing Captain Patrick Ryan handed the reins to incoming Captain Daniel Connery.
The new committee was elected with the following positions being allocated: Games Secretary- Michael O’Brien, Secretary – Michael O’Halloran, Assistant Secretary – Sean Cummins, Handicap Secretary – Joey O’Dwyer, Treasurer – John Traynor and PRO – Gerry Kelly.
Captain Daniel and Vice Captain John Traynor are wished the best of luck for the year.

Daniel Connery has been a member of the club for over 20 years and has been to the forefront of Junior golf and a member of various committees.

It is a fitting tribute to his dedication that he was chosen to be Captain, following on the family tradition where his mother Evelyn Connery recently held the office of Lady President.
