The vigil for 36-year old Grace Benyin, who was a midwife at South Tipperary University Hospital, will be held at Ss Peter & Paul’s Church in Clonmel at 7.30.
Ellen Grogan, who organised a vigil for Grace earlier in December, said the news of her death was deeply saddening for so many.
She said the vigil organised for Saturday, January 3 would give the people of Clonmel an opportunity to express their support for the family.
“It is important for the whole Clonmel community to show her four children and her husband that they are cared for and that they are not alone.
Grace gave so much to the Clonmel and Tipperary community as her work as a midwife. Since Grace went missing we have been overwhelmed with messages of support from people who experienced her kindness, love and support.

She was there to help so many people at the most vulnerable time in their lives. She was a kind, lovely and deeply empathetic person who went above and beyond the call of duty in her work,” said Ellen Grogan.
Ellen said the vigil would be conducted by Fr Deo Mayanja at Ss Peter & Paul’s Church in Clonmel at 7.30 on Saturday January 3. Majorie Maxwell will sing hymns during the vigil.
