Organisers were quick to praise the participants for their enthusiasm and generosity. The walk, which combined reflection and community spirit, provided an opportunity for residents to honour loved ones while contributing to charities that provide vital services across the county.
Speaking after the event, organisers expressed their gratitude to everyone who attended. The strong participation highlighted the club’s ability to engage the community beyond sport and demonstrated the deep-rooted sense of solidarity in Ballyporeen and surrounding areas.
The Remembrance Walk also served as a gentle reminder of the power of local initiatives. By bringing people together for a shared purpose, the event not only raised funds for essential causes but also strengthened social bonds, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
