Cahir Social & Historical Society will host a lecture on The fossils of south Tipperary

The Cahir Social & Historical Society presents The Fossils of south Tipperary - A journey through 500 million years of Earth history.

Professor Maria McNamara will give a fascinating illustrated talk exploring south Tipperary’s ancient past through its remarkable fossils.

The event will be held at Cahir House Hotel on Thursday January 22.

It will start at  8:00pm. €7 guests, €5 members and students are free.

All are welcome to this evening of science, history, and local heritage.
