Karolina Kovacova entering Clonmel Courthouse last October for her first appearance before Clonmel District Court charged with the murder of Pavel Javorski
A judge has granted the prosecution more time to serve the Book of Evidence in the case of a 24-year-old woman charged with the murder of a 47-year-old man at an apartment in Carrick-on-Suir last October.
Judge John O’Leary adjourned the case of Karolina Kovacova for a further month when she appeared before Clonmel District Court on Tuesday, January 6.
Ms Kovacova with an address at O’Callaghan’s Lane (also known locally as Callanan’s Lane) is charged with the murder of Pavel Javorski at O’Callaghan’s Lane in Carrick-on-Suir on Saturday, October 4.
Defence solicitor Aidan Leahy informed the court the State was seeking some further time for service of the Book of Evidence and he had been informed it will be available in four weeks time.
Sgt. Tom O’Brien confirmed this and Judge O’Leary agreed to adjourn the case to Clonmel District Court on February 3 for service of the Book of Evidence.
He remanded Ms Kovacova in custody to appear before the court on that date.
