LATEST NEWS: Are you eligible for free smoking alarm in County Tipperary

Application forms are available at the Tipperary Community Service Centre on Saint Michael’s Street in Tipperary Town.

If you are 65 or older, you can receive a free fire alarm thanks to the Smoke Alarm Scheme.

This program helps people who need it most by providing smoke alarms and installing them for older adults, people who live alone, and those in remote rural areas.

Application forms are available at the Tipperary Community Service Centre on Saint Michael’s Street in Tipperary Town.

Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service recommends that every home in the county be equipped with at least two functioning smoke alarms.
