McGrath will be giving her prize to Postive Steps and Ardfinnan GAA.

Councillor Mairin McGrath was the winner of local GAA clubs Ardfinnan fundraiser Quid Game last weekend in Cahir house.

McGrath will be giving her prize to Postive Steps and Ardfinnan GAA.

“What a great event last night in Cahir House Hotel for the Ardfinnan Quid Games Fundraiser! I was glad to be invited to take part as one of the 25 contestants!”

“Unexpectedly, I came out on top and won the competition last night after luckily making my way through each round of the challenges.”

“I’m delighted that my prize pot will be shared with Positive Steps Together, a very special local charity with an added donation to Ardfinnan GAA in recognition of them hosting the event!”

“Thanks to everyone who donated towards my own fundraising efforts; it was much appreciated!”

“Well done to the club, organisers and all the contestants who all worked hard over the last few months to raise money for the development of the new gym, and who took to the stage in the hope of winning the prize fund and supporting many worthy causes!”
