A councillor highlighted public demand for a car park to be developed on the Laffansbridge side of the Littleton Labyrinth walk and cycleway at Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District’s monthly meeting.

Fianna Fáil Cllr Amy Goldsboro asked if there were any plans to build such a car park as a number of constituents have approached her seeking this facility.

District Engineer Michael Scully replied that he hadn’t heard about any plans for a car park at this location but invited the Ballingarry councillor to send him an email about the issue.

He promised to come back to her on the matter.
