Tipperary's Sean Kenneally

Injury looks set to rule Sean Kenneally out of Tipperary's opening Munster Championship game against Cork.

The Moneygall player scored two points following his introduction as a half-time substitute in Tipperary's most recent game, against Kilkenny in the National League.

However, there's better news concerning Willie Connors, another Tipp player who also picked up an injury recently.

Tipperary GAA is reporting that he is progressing well in his recovery.

The Kiladangan man is expected to be available for selection for Tipp's encounter with Cork in Thurles on Sunday fortnight, April 19, in what will be a repeat of last year's All-Ireland final.
