A horse being urged on in a sulky had a horrific death, after colliding with a car in Clonmel at the end of March.
A protest that was to be held tomorrow for animal welfare and road safety, has had to be postponed as a result of the ongoing fuel crisis, and the escalation of road blockages involving hauliers, farmers, and others.
Cllr Michael Brennan said that he and Cllr Liam Browne, along with My Lovely Horse Rescue, had made the "difficult but responsible decision to postpone our peaceful walk in protest in Clonmel, originally scheduled for Saturday, 11 April".
