Waterford Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to two separate handbag thefts which occurred over the past week.
The first took place at MPV, Mahon Falls, Lemybrien on Sunday afternoon (January 29, 2023) when the window of a Volkswagen Passat was smashed and a brown handbag was taken from the front of the car.
The second occurred in Barronstrand Street on Friday (January 27) when two males approached a bench where the victim was sitting before taking the handbag and leaving the scene on foot.
The incident took place at approximately 4pm.
Anyone with dash cam footage or information is asked to contact Kilmacthomas Garda Station or Waterford Garda Station.
