Gardaí in Waterford are investigating an incident where a man entered a house in Doyle Street uninvited and took a sum of cash.
The man spoke to the elderly inhabitant of the house for several minutes before taking a sum of cash and leaving the house.
The incident occurred around 5.30pm on the evening of February 15.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area and noticed any suspicious persons to contact Waterford Garda Station.
