A garda investigation is underway after a woman received facial injuries in an alleged assault in Waterford.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the assault which occurred on Upper Strand Street, Tramore on Friday 17th February at 3.30pm.
A woman in her forties was assaulted by a woman, also in her forties.
She received injuries to her face.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnesses the assault to contact Tramore Garda Station.
