On Tower Ireland Limited have been refused planning permission to erect a new 27 metres telecommunications tower at Ballyrobin, Ferrybank, County Kilkenny.
The structure was planned to carry antennae, dishes and associated equipment, ground-based equipment cabinets.
Also planned was fencing and the construction of an access track.
Kilkenny County Council refused planning permission on March 22, 2023.
The applicant retains the option to appeal the decision to An Bord Pleanála.
