Daylight saving
Sunday, March 26, marks the start of 'summer time' in Ireland which means you have to put the clocks forward.
Summertime, also referred to as daylight saving time, begins in Ireland at 1 am on Sunday morning when clocks must be turned forward by hour to 2 am.
It ends at 2 am on Sunday, October 29.
The clocks change in order to make the best use of the natural light as the earth orbits the sun.
The clocks in all EU states change on the last Sunday in October and go forward on the last Sunday of March each year.
