GALWAY'S Liam Gordon will referee Waterford's Munster Senior Hurling Championship opener at Semple Stadium, Thurles this coming Sunday it has been confirmed.
The Galway man officiated the recent meeting of Limerick versus Tipperary in the Allianz Hurling League semi-final at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
Waterford's game with Limerick has a 2pm throw-in at Thurles on Sunday, April 23.
