The organisers of the Waterford Walls Festival are planning to welcome even more visitors to Waterford in August, with the announcement of a new rebrand.

The Walls Project has been transformed with a dazzling rebrand by Dublin-based creative agency, Unthink. With the project funded by The Arts Council under its Capacity Building scheme, the new logo references the initial W, rotated to create two walls coming together at a corner.

Its bold ribbon-like form reflects the company’s confident position as the leader in its field. To complete the look, the online presences of The Walls Project and Waterford Walls have received the full rebrand to highlight the new direction of the street art agency.

The Walls Project exists ‘To create spaces for artists and communities to connect and thrive’. The agency’s purpose remains the same in its aim to ‘break down the barriers between art and communities, and to celebrate street art as a powerful tool in urban regeneration’.

Waterford Walls Festival continues to bring the same spectacle to the city and county.

Communications Manager, Emma Loo said: “The Walls Project will bring the same colour and excitement to all of our projects across Ireland. We’re gearing up to welcome even more visitors to our festival in Waterford this August. Our new brand look represents our growth as we head into the ninth edition of Waterford Walls. Our once volunteer-led project, has a dedicated team and board to manage the programme and that’s why we believe our brand deserves a new polished look. We thank the team at Unthink for capturing all the elements of what we do at The Walls Projects and presenting it in such a way that we think you’ll all love.”

Social media and all contact methods remain the same for The Walls Project. Information about Waterford Walls Festival, commissions and much more can be found at their Linktree here: https://linktr.ee/ TheWallsProject
