Company seeks permission to build almost 100 homes in Waterford

A planning application for the construction of almost 100 new homes has been lodged with Waterford City and County Council.

The application - submitted by Sanpol Developments Limited - seeks permission for 45 detached, semi-detached two-floored and three-floored houses and 45 self-contained apartments in Ballinakill.

If granted, permission also includes installation of all necessary services including foul drainage disposal, connection to existing public foul main and all associated site development works.

This includes an entrance through Ballinakill Park (27 houses and 45 apartments) and entrance through Island Lane (18 houses).

A decision is expected by the end of June 2023.
