THE CREATOR of the ‘Irish History Podcast’ and a leading authority on Irish history Fin Dwyer, has launched a highly-anticipated walking tour of Waterford.
The weekly tour, which begins on 24 June, offers a unique and immersive experience.
Participants will be transported back in time using wireless headsets, discovering the pivotal role Waterford has played in Irish history over the last millennium.
Designed for local history enthusiasts, travellers, and curious minds alike, this tour goes beyond storytelling.
Participants will not only hear the tales of the past but also experience the sounds of Waterford through the ages and listen to the words of the people who shaped Irish history in Waterford.
Explaining the tour, Fin Dwyer said: "There are few better places to explore Ireland's rich history and heritage than Waterford. The city has been the gateway to Ireland for over one thousand years, and the events that played out in our streets have had an impact far and wide."

The tour is meticulously crafted to create a truly immersive experience. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the city as it was, including well-known spots, graveyards, and forgotten slums.
With an emphasis on small group sizes, each tour is limited to fifteen people which guarantees an intimate and personalised experience for participants.
