Margot Robbie stars as Barbie
CINEMA goers unite, as a Waterford town is revealed as the second top cinema lovers in the country.
Tramore has been revealed as the second most cinema loving town in Ireland, with the first being Ballincollig in Cork.
Digital marketing agency, Digital Funnel, based the results off of Google data to determine which region was the most cinema obsessed.
Results were compiled by examining eight separate trending search terms in Ireland over the past week, which included “Barbie”, “Oppenheimer”, “Omniplex”, “Mission Impossible”, “Odeon”, “Imax”, “Cinema” and “Cinema Listings”.
Both highly anticipated Barbie and Oppenheimer films are released on Friday, July 21 in cinemas nationwide.
Barbie stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, who go on a journey of self-discovery after their expulsion from Barbieland, while Oppenheimer sees Irish actor Cillian Murphy star as American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, documenting his role in the development of the atomic bomb.
