Special direct train from Waterford announced ahead of All-Ireland camogie final

As All-Ireland fever builds ahead of Waterford Camogie's final showdown with Cork, Irish Rail have announced a special direct train to Dublin on the day.

The Deise booked their spot in the final with a hard-fought win over neighbours Tipperary last weekend, running out winners by the narrowest of margins to book their first final appearance in 78 years.

In welcome news to the many Waterford supporters heading to GAA HQ, a special service from Waterford to Heuston will run at 12.05pm on Sunday, August 6 with a return service at 7.40pm to facilitate fans and passengers attending the Waterford v Cork game.

The final is fixed for a 5pm throw-in at Croke Park with a large travelling contingent of Waterford supporters expected to make the journey.
