A popular hotel in Waterford City Centre is seeking planning permission for the construction of a new children's swimming pool.
A planning application for the changes to Treacy's Hotel was submitted to Waterford City and County Council today (September 22).
If permission is granted, the development will consist of alterations to an existing changing rooms area to accommodate the new swimming pool on the ground floor, alterations to apartment suites to add extra bedrooms, and a change of use from spa to commercial lounge space and extra bedrooms.
A decision is expected by mid-November 2023.
