Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange rain warning for Waterford, with intense rainfall expected over a relatively short time period.
The rainfall will begin at 12pm noon today (September 24) and will last until 6pm this evening.
Potential impacts include flooding, poor visibility, and hazardous travelling conditions.
A Status Yellow wind warning for Waterford has also been issued from between 3pm today to 7pm this evening.
Very strong and gusty southerly winds, especially near coasts and on high ground can be expected.
