Ten-in-a-row Waterford champions Ballygunner got their bid for a third Munster title in a row off to a flying start with a commanding win over Cork champions Sarsfields.
Going in nine points to the good at half-time, Ballygunner kept their foot on the pedal to run out 17-point victors with Dessie Hutchinson and Patrick Fitzgerald leading from the front.
