Gardaí are seeking information on an assault and robbery which occurred in Waterford City.
According to Gardaí, a man in his 30s was walking home from work by St Herblain between the two green areas on Sunday October 29 at 11.15pm when he heard fast paced footsteps behind him.
Upon turning, he saw three males with hoodies.
According to Gardaí, "the next thing he remembers is waking up on the ground".
The man, who received injuries to his wrist and torso, was robbed of a sum of cash.
In a statement, Gardaí said: "We are asking people to contact the crime unit at Waterford Garda Station if they observed this incident or saw males fleeing this area and to check video door bells and CCTV."
