Planning permission sought for 14 new houses in grounds of historic Waterford house

Planning permission is being sought to build 14 new houses on the grounds of a historic house in Dungarvan. 

A planning application was submitted to Waterford City and County Council for the development at Glebe House, Landsend Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford

The proposed development will include the renovation of an existing 2 storey lodge, the construction of 14 new houses consisting of 4 single-storey houses and 10 2-storey houses.

Planning permission is also sought for the removal of a section of Walled Garden, the relocation of the existing house entrance for access to the proposed development and the existing house along with a proposed pedestrian crossing to the public footpath and all associated roads, footpaths, pedestrian accesses, boundaries, site services, a waste water pumping station and associated site works at ‘Glebe House’.

This application requires works to be carried out within the Curtilage of a Protected Structure. A Natura Impact Statement will be submitted with the planning application.
The application was submitted on 10/11/2023 with no date for decision available yet.
