Declan Francis Griffin passed away on Monday
Tributes have poured in following the sad and untimely death of Declan Francis Griffin who passed away on Monday, March 25.
Declan, late of Grace-dieu and formerly of Avondale, will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken parents Maria and Pat, his daughter Shauna, his brother Brian, his sister Caroline, his partner in crime and niece Emma, his nephew Mark and all his aunties and uncles. He will be greatly missed by all his relatives, extended family and his many many friends.
Heartfelt condolences have been left by those who knew and remembered Declan on RIP.ie, with one mourner writing,
"Heartbreaking news Maria on the passing of your lovely Son Declan sincere condolences to your family his Dad Sister Caroline Brother Brian Niece Emma and nephew Mark. Your beautiful little girl Shauna extended family and all who loved Declan. Maria you are very much in our hearts and prayers may Declan rest in peace."
Another said,
"Sincere Condolences Emma on the huge loss of your dear uncle. May your many wonderful memories of time spent together give you comfort as you navigate the days ahead. Condolences also to your mam, grandparents and all of Declans family and friends. May he Rest in Peace."
While another simply wrote,
"So sorry for your huge loss Maria and family, Declan was a lovely fella. May he Rest in Peace."
Funeral Arrangements
Declan will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, March 28. All are welcome.
Declan's Funeral Service will take place on Good Friday, March 29, at 10:30am at The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Ballybricken, Waterford City, with burial immediately afterwards in St. Otteran's Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Waterford City.
House is requested to be private at all times.
