Jerry Fish is renowned as much for his showmanship as he is for his music, so festival goers can expect an electric atmosphere
The countdown to the 2024 Waterford Festival of Food is well underway with only 2 weeks until the festival weekend.
The festival’s opening night is set to rock Dungarvan town, as Ireland’s greatest indie-showman Jerry Fish together with his electric sideshow, will take centre stage on Friday April 19.
This Friday night live music event will set the stage for the festival's biggest year yet.
The event will have the perfect recipe of live music; local restaurant pop-ups including The Interlude, X35, Indian Ocean, and 2 Sisters; and a bar with local beer, cider, and spirits curated by Merry’s.
You won’t want to miss the music, atmosphere, food and drinks at this outdoor celebration as it will be the talk of town and region!
Tickets are priced at €27.50 and are now on sale from waterfordfestivaloffood.com and via Eventbrite.
However, tickets are selling out fast and with limited time remaining to event night, it’s advised to book now to avoid disappointment.
Want to keep the night alive after the Jerry Fish show?
Waterford Festival of Food’s 2024 programme has enough activity to keep you entertained all weekend long. Check out the Supper Club in Lawlors, with late night music and tapas from 10pm on Friday April 19, the perfect next stop to carry on the Friday night festival vibes.
Tickets for the Supper Club available by contacting Lawlors Hotel.
Jerry Fish is renowned as much for his showmanship as he is for his music, so festival goers can expect an electric atmosphere.
Fish is a carnival creator, circus ringmaster - complete with Vaudeville moustache - a playwright, singer, songwriter, and poet. Known for his genre-bending style, he brings great music and showmanship to every event.
There will also be a local flavour to the music on the night with support act UNDER STARLINGS, an alternative rock group from Waterford who bring their own touch of euphoria and escapism.
The ticket price includes access to the event space located at the carpark on Shandon Street, Dungarvan. Food and drink purchased at the event is a separate cost.
Now in its 15th year, Waterford Festival of Food takes place from Friday April 19 to Sunday 21 centered around the scenic harbour town of Dungarvan.
You can expect pop-up dinners from visiting chefs, food tours, storytelling, a full children’s programme, guided foraging both land and sea, farm visits, live cooking demos in atypical locations, music, dancing, live bands and one of Ireland’s largest outdoor markets.
This festival is very much focused on locality, regionality and personality and how those elements connect us back with food!
Waterford Festival of Food is funded by Waterford Council, Waterford Leader Partnership, Fáilte Ireland, and Waterford LEO and would not be possible without the support of sponsors, OPW, Friends Circle and the community.
