Andrew Burke passed away on Saturday
Tributes have poured in following the tragic passing of Andrew Burke, The Grange, John's Hill, Waterford, who died on Saturday, April 20.
Predeceased by his grandfathers Eddie Keag and Jimmy Burke, Andrew is the much loved son of Jean and Brian.
Andrew will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his parents, grandmothers Josie Keag and Breda Burke, aunts and uncles, cousins, family and neighbours and especially by his friends, classmates, teachers and carers in St. Martin’s Special School.
Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie from those who knew and remembered Andrew, with one mourner writing,
"Jean & Brian we were so deeply saddened to hear the news of Andrew's passing. He was such a beautiful boy with the biggest brightest smile. We loved meeting you on your daily walks Jean and having the chats with Andrew. He touched all of our lives and will be sorely missed in the Grange. We are heartbroken for you and extend our deepest sympathy to you both, to Andrew's grandmothers and extended family and friends."
Another wrote,
"Our deepest heartfelt condolences to Jean, Brian and extended family on the sad loss of your beloved son Andrew. A beautiful boy with a wonderful smile he will be sorely missed in our neighbourhood, rest in peace Andrew."
While another simply wrote,
"There are no words. Thinking of you all."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home, Johnstown, Waterford, X91 FW4A, on Wednesday, April 24, from 6.30pm, followed by Removal to The Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, at 7.30pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday, April 25, at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner.
