Flooding possible in Waterford as Met Éireann issues Status Yellow rain warning

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Waterford and two other counties. 

Heavy rain can be expected from 1am tomorrow (Monday May 13) until 3pm later in the day in Waterford, Cork and Kerry. 

Possible impacts include localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility. 

A Status Yellow thunderstorm warning has also been issued for eight counties in the north and northwest of the country, including Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Meath, and Wicklow.
