Waterford take on Limerick at TUS Gaelic Grounds at 4pm on Sunday | PICTURE: Sportsfile
Waterford take on Limerick this Sunday afternoon in their final round robin fixture in this year's Munster SHC.
The Deise remain on 3 points following their last-gasp defeat to Clare at Cusack Park, Ennis last weekend while the reigning All-Ireland champions, Limerick, will be looking to bounce back with a victory following their defeat to Cork at Supervalu Pairc Ui Chaoimh a fortnight ago.
There are various permutations ahead of the final round of fixtures - the results of which will determine who contests the Munster final and which county finishes 3rd.
For Waterford, a victory will guarantee Davy Fitzgerald's side a place in the final while a loss will see the team exit the championship altogether. A draw at TUS Gaelic Grounds, combined with a Clare win or a draw against Tipperary in Semple Stadium, Thurles will see Waterford finish 3rd.
If Tipperary defeat Clare and Waterford draw with Limerick, scoring difference will come into the equation between Cork, Clare and Waterford to determine who finishes 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Supporters travelling to Limerick are being advised that a major traffic operation will take effect from 2pm involving road closures and parking restrictions around the venue.

Limerick City and County Council, An Garda Síochana and Limerick County GAA Board advise patrons to be parked at least one hour before match start time and to use city centre off street car parks and free on street facilities.
