Appeal launched to catch thief who stole handbag from parked car in Waterford

Gardaí have launched an appeal to catch a thief who stole a handbag from a parked car within 20 minutes of being there in Co Waterford.

On Saturday afternoon of June 15, a 201 WX grey insignia car was broken into and a black leather bag was stolen while the car was parked at Mahon Bridge car park.

The passenger side window of the vehicle was smashed to gain entry.

This occurred during a relatively short space of time, from 4.15pm to when the injured party returned to the car at 4.35pm.
