Waterford motorists urged to 'please drive with caution' as crash closes major road

Motorists are urged to drive with caution following a road traffic accident on a major Waterford road.

The N25 between Griffins Garage and Knocknagranagh junction is closed due to the incident, with diversions around the area now in place via R675 Coast Road.

Waterford City and County Council confirmed the road closure and urged drivers to "please drive with caution".

In a statement, Gardaí confirmed officers and emergency services are at the scene at Garranbane, Dungarvan.

A spokesperson stated, "Local diversions are in place and road users are asked to take alternative routes if possible."
