A number of diversions will be in place from today (July 10) to facilitate motorists driving in the area

Traffic disruptions in Dungarvan to last for FIVE WEEKS due to footpath works

Five weeks of traffic disruptions can be expected in Dungarvan to facilitate footpath upgrade works. 

According to Waterford City and County Council, the works will progress along O'Connell Street from today (July 10) and will continue for five weeks from its junction with St Bridget Terrace towards Wolfe Tone road. 

Diversions will be in place.

Traffic heading westwards along O'Connell St will be diverted at its junction with Bridget Terrace onto John Treacy St. 

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution during the period of works.

Access to affected businesses and properties along O'Connell St will be provided.
