ALERT: Gardai issue urgent appeal for help in locating missing Waterford schoolgirl

gardai say Alicia Stokes from Cappoquin was last at approximately 2.35pm on Tuesday

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 14-year-old girl who has been reported as missing from her home in County Waterford.

In an appeal, issued this Thursday night, gardai say Alicia Stokes from Cappoquin was last at approximately 2.35pm on Tuesday.

She is described as being around 5 foot 7 or 5 foot 8 inches in height, with a medium build, blonde hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Alicia was wearing black shorts, white runners, and a black hoodie.

According to gardai, it is believed that Alicia may have travelled to the Newcastle, County Tipperary area. She is also known to frequent the Cashel and Clonmel areas of Tipperary.

Gardaí say that both they and Alicia’s family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Anyone with any information on the teenager's whereabouts is asked to contact Waterford garda station on (051) 305 300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
