Decision due to be made on construction of large housing development in Tramore

Waterford County Council is due to make a decision soon on the planning application for the construction of a new residential development in Tramore. 

Cosmo Developments Newtown Limited submitted the application in June which proposes building 35 houses as part of a new development in Newtown Park, Newtown, Tramore.

The council is due to make their decision on Wednesday, 8 January.

The development would consist of 8 Type A four-bedroom semi-detached homes, 4 Type A1 four-bedroom semi-detached dual fronted houses, 12 Type B three-bedroom semi-detached houses, 3 Type C three-bedroom semi-detached and terraced houses, 4 Type D three-bedroom end of terrace homes, as well as 4 Type E two-bedroom terraced houses. 

All of the homes are two-storey. The application also includes upgrades to the existing pumping station, local roads and footpaths, site landscaping and amenity areas, boundary treatments, lighting, drainage, a new road connection to Newtown Park and all associated infrastructure.
