A former co-worker of Ann's from the Lismore Point to Point Race Committee said, "Our deepest sympathy to Jimmy, Liz, Siobhan, Jennifer, Alan and the extended O’Gorman and Ormonde families on the death of their beloved Ann.

"Ann has been a valued member of our committee for many years. The contribution of her support, loyalty and friendship over her time with us is very much appreciated by us all.

"Despite her illness, Ann, with the support of her family, manned the hospitality tent (as she had done for many years) at our meeting less than two months ago. We very much appreciate the effort that she and her family put in to make the day and all the other days such a success. She will be very much missed. May her soul rest In peace until we meet again," they concluded.

The Lismore native's rosary took place in Saint Carthages Mortuary on Wednesday, April 30, at 8pm.
